Why Capital Prism exists.

Private capital still moves on who you happen to know. We built a better way to find the right counterparty, and to look in confidence.

The problem

The right counterparty is often not the obvious one.

Private markets run on relationships. That has always meant the field you can reach is the field you already know. The best buyer, the right investor, the partner who changes the outcome, is frequently someone you were never going to find through your own contacts. And because these conversations are sensitive, most people stay quiet and settle for the names in front of them. Value is won or lost in that gap.

What is different

An ontology, not a directory.

Capital Prism is built on three ideas.

The map

A living map of companies, counterparties, advisers, mandates, relationships, signals and intent. It surfaces the counterparties who genuinely fit, including the ones no one would have thought to look for.

Confidential by default

Your space on the platform is yours alone. You decide what is shared, with whom, and when. You can stay anonymous until you choose to reveal, one step at a time.

A personal Adviser

An intelligent Adviser that works only for you, firewalled from everyone else. It helps you decide what to put into the Prism, and makes sense of what comes back. Your Adviser prepares. You decide.

Why we built it

Built from the conviction that this could be done better.

Capital Prism was founded by David Lewis, after a career spent on every side of a private deal. It comes from a simple conviction: that good data and AI can make sense of what someone actually needs, and match it in ways the old ways of banking never could. Your Adviser prepares. You decide.

Where it is going

Being built with a founding cohort.

Capital Prism is in private beta. A small group of founding members is helping shape it.

Better counterparties. Better positioning. Better outcomes.

Membership of The Capital Prism is curated. Join by invitation, or introduce yourself.
